hi ya just tried to update my maxiscan ms509 to read my 2000 reg alfa romeo 156 1.8 t-spark it just keeps coming up with a link error message any ideas please thank you all :-)

first time in using it done the update on the cd provided in kit but wonder if need newer update as when connected get 3/4 through serching when i click dianostics then says link error any i deas
